SHIPPING
Mushroom Box ships Worldwide. However, some countries may have import restrictions causing your goods to be seized or impounded.

UK: Shipping surcharges may apply for larger parcels (ie those that cannot be sent with Royal Mail) shipped to Highlands and Islands and any other location classed as 'remote' by couriers. The . 'Free Shipping' Discount does not apply to bulk goods - such as bulk quantities (1kg+) of spawn or bulk substrates. The online shop may not recognise this - if so, we will contact you to arrange the additional payment, or you are welcome to arrange your own collection, as long as we know in advance.

Europe: We have not experienced any problems shipping to Europe. We regularly ship to most West European and Eastern Europe countries without a problem.

Worldwide: The only countries we are not currently able to ship to is Chile, New Zealand and Kuwait. We can ship dowels to Australia, but not mushroom spawn - Despite the fact that mushroom spawn is NOT on the list of prohibited or restricted goods for Australia, it doesn't seem to stop Australian Customs from charging very high customs clearance fees for mushroom spawn which makes it uneconomical to import spawn to Australia.

Most shipments outside Europe take 4-6days. Some shipments can take longer (eg to Bolivia, Philipines). Most strains are able to cope with the delay, but a few are not. Please contact us to discuss your order if you are from a highly remote location.

We have no problem shipping to most countries worldwide.

In the event that goods are delayed in transit to the extent that they become spoiled, we will happily replace them free of charge, but will require evidence of spoiling. We will not be responsible for loss caused by Customs seizure - if necessary, please check with us before ordering. Any order shortages, missing items or damaged consignments must be notified to us within 24hours of receiving goods. Damaged parcels must be signed for as 'damaged' - if you sign to accept the condition it is delivered in, then we cannot claim on our transit insurance and therefore the goods will be deemed to have been received in good condition.


RETURNS
We operate within the Distance Selling Regulations ('DSR'), for all orders delivered to Europe and the UK.
Mushroom Spawn, dowels and mushroom kits are classified as perishable goods for DSR purposes. Therefore returns are normally not accepted for these items. However, we may choose to waive this rule, at our discretion.
All goods supplied, which are covered by the DSR must be notifed within seven days by durable medium, should return be necessary. However, the costs of returning goods are solely the responsibility of the customer. To enable us to process your return effectively, please contact us for a Returns Authorisation Number before returning items. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied, your Statutory Rights are unaffected.
