Chestnut Mushroom

60g Chestnut Mushroom (Pholiota adiposa)

This is the true Chestnut Mushroom (NOT the portabella strain that is labelled up as Chestnut Mushroom in the supermarkets!).

This mushroom is fast growing - 5-6weeks, and will readily fruit on hardwood sawdust substrates, after pasteurisation. It should also be possible to grow this on chopped straw.
