These bags are suitable for sterilisation in a pressure cooker or autoclave, being made from PP. (Just remember to make sure they are not touching the walls of the pressure vessel otherwise they could overheat - wrap in a tea towel if necessary).

They have two long filters across the width of the top of the bag for good gas exchange and reliability. This ensures good gas exchange even to the bottom of the bag - avoiding the formation of an anaerobic zone at the base.

Intended for single-use, but can be reused a few times if you are careful with them.


These bags are a lot smaller, but twice as thick as the larger bags we sell.
