These bags are gusseted on both long edges. Bags are suitable for approximately 1litre / 1 kg of spawn/substrate (depending on density)

These bags are suitable for sterilisation in a pressure cooker or autoclave, being made from PP. (Just remember to make sure they are not touching the walls of the pressure vessel otherwise they could overheat - wrap in a tea towel if necessary).

Intended for single-use, but can be reused a few times if you are careful with them.


These bags are smaller the the other types of bag we sell, but twice as thick (60 micron) for greater resistance to high temperature and for puncture-resistance.
