King Oyster Mushroom Box Kit

King Oyster Mushrooms are rightfully considered to be king of the oysters. Unlike other oyster mushrooms, these develop small caps and large, thick stems, which are much more delicate than the stems of other oysters.

Diced King Oysters make a fantastic alternative to meat in traditional dishes.

Mushroom Box is great for growing your own mushrooms at home, and also an ideal gift for someone who already has everything. It is educational, and highly enjoyable for adults and children alike.

This kit is not pre-spawned. We can either send the spawn with the kit, or we can send a registration card which you (or the recipient, if it is a gift) can use to claim the spawn when you want to start the kit - perfect if you intend to give the kit to someone as a present. If no preference is stated, we will send fresh spawn with the kit.

Full growing instructions provided

If necessary, ready-to-go kits can be stored for at least 1 month by following the enclosed instructions. If you plan to store the kit for longer, please let us know and we will replace the live component with a registration card, which you or the receive can use to register for the live component when you are ready to start the kit. In this way, the kit can be stored indefinitely.
