Blue/Grey Oyster Dowels (50)

I have installed 50 blue grey oyster mushrooms in a 4 foot long (6" diameter) birch log. This is my first go. The waxing was easy. I have wrapped the log in a see through hessian sack and placed it across another couple of logs under some trees with quite dense cover.
How often should I wet it and any tips please?
